Chapter 42: Triggered Thoughts
When I opened my eyes, I felt pain in my neck. I groaned softly and moved to adjust myself because I had an uncomfortable position.
The only thing that came inside my mind after regaining my consciousness was that I was abducted.
I quickly rolled my eyes after recalling what had happened. I was currently lying on the floor, so perhaps my body hurt because of the hard cement. The place is bright and relaxing while surrounded by white decors.
My eyes are still drowsy; maybe it’s because of the tiredness I feel and what happened earlier. I don’t know where I am or who did this to me. Is this another one of our pursuers?
