“I’ve been looking after her for a long time.” my brows knitted on Denver’s words. I stared at him to see if he was joking, but he was wearing an intense expression.
“What do you mean?”
“I liked her since then.” my left brow raised. This man knew Tara? How come?
“Are you serious?” I asked, but I calmed myself from shouting. Denver nodded. “So, do you know each other?” he nodded. I remained silent as I observed him. I can see that he’s not lying, and he answered my questions wholeheartedly, but why did Tara say he met with a stranger?
