Aiden mother is trying to be real with him

They walked for a while longer, the forest growing darker around them as they went. Finally, Vella broke the silence.

"You know," she said, "you don't have to do this alone. Whatever is going on with your mother, we'll face it together."

Aiden turned to her, his expression grateful. "Thank you, Vella. I don't know what I'd do without you."

Vella smiled back at him. "That's what packmates are for, right?"

Aiden nodded, feeling a sense of warmth spread through him. It was true - he had a pack, a family, that he could count on. And he knew that together, they could overcome any obstacle.

They walked for a while longer, until they came to a clearing. In the center of the clearing stood a large tree, its branches reaching up to the sky. Aiden recognized it immediately - it was the tree where he and his father used to sit and talk when he was a child.
