Chapter 11

Evan POV

I ran around the whole clan, and still couldn't find her. I Didn't Know why I had this feeling that it was my priority to protect her. I entered the Starlight clan, and there I saw her, standing on the balcony as she gazed intensely at the sunrise.

"You are here?" I asked, walking straight to her, and she turned to look at me.

"You thought I was going to escape?" She questioned me

"I didn't think, I know you were going to escape," I said back to her, and she smiled a little

"I know I miss my family, but I would rather stay here where I have freedom than go back to my father, where I am always treated like a slave," she said, looking directly into my eyes. I was surprised " why would she say such," I thought

"What do you mean?" I asked her again. She released a heavy sigh and walked closer to me.

"You wouldn't want to know. Am a slave here though but at least I have a little freedom, I will act like such, so don't think of associating with me" She said, smiled at me, and walke
