A Threat from Gavin Clyborne

"Let me slice it," Gabe insisted without letting her speak anymore as he got her plate for a while to slice the steak by himself. She couldn't help but to watch him do it for her. The butterflies in her stomach added even more.

"Here try it out," it stunned her even more when he lifted the fork with the small slice of the steak and offered it to her. It was near the front of her mouth. But then, was she only assuming? What if he was only giving her the fork?

"Thanks," she said and held the fork by herself as she also got her plate back. Choosing to avoid those perilous eyes was all she could do. Of course, she must not take the risk. He might think of something else if she took a bite instead of getting back the fork.

"It's melting in my mouth," she commented when she began to ate as well. Now, she realized why Gabe likes this restaurant that he even chose to abandon the food that was prepared in his house for this.
