45. Luna's Fears

Luna Lawson:

I sat on the bed for a while, hoping Abigail would come check up on me as I was hungry. Still, no traces of Abigail even after sitting on my bed for hours and watching the moon rise above the sky from my window that was across from my bed. My bed wasn't closer to the window, just in case any crazy dragon female wanted to fly up to my window to burn me down to ashes out of jealousy. So far, none of them had flown up, and I was at peace, knowing fully well that the guards guarding the castle were really serious about their jobs.

I carefully slid down from my bed, realizing I was still bare. I saw one of the pants that Abigail had bought for me during their last feast that I missed. I saw the pants soaked in a bowl of water and kept in the drawer beside my bed, and I wondered what happened next.
