59. Mikel's decision

Mikel Diego:

"My lady, you're asked to leave here now," a guard said to Aspen while she stared teary-eyed at me, not knowing what had fully happened after she fainted. I still stood beside the throne, staring at all of them left in the grand hall.

I turned away and met eyes with Zuri. Zuri said, "You're sending us all away, Mikel... because of Luna!"

I rushed to Zuri and seized her by her throat as my sharp-clawed fingers grew out and pierced into her throat, attempting to kill her.

"One more word from you, Zuri, and I will send your head to Damien. You harlot! Get out!" I roared and let go of Zuri's neck because of baby Jax in her arms, who started crying. Zuri coughed up blood as she glared at me and left the hall with Jax in her arms, walking out without taking anything along with her as she left first.

The rest of the elders in the hall were all speechless, knowing no one dared to question my orders or go against me. The second elder finally asked, "Can we leave now, your majesty?
