92. Women in the hall

Luna Lawson:

I noticed Aiden had fallen asleep, and I was still in chapter 1 of the novel. I covered him up too and carefully exited his room, trying not to wake him up.

As I stepped out of his room and glanced backward, preparing to make my way upstairs, I saw Mikel standing in the second-floor passage, staring at me.

I gulped and looked down as I attempted to walk past Mikel, but he caught me by the wrist. I wondered who had gone to wake him up from the field where he was sleeping. Next, he slammed me against the wall and started kissing me hungrily.

"Let me go..."

"Shush... Do you want to wake the kids up?" Mikel asked me in a hoarse voice. Then, he carried me upstairs to the third floor immediately, while I tried to suppress my screams.
