"It is me..." I whispered as I stepped closer, "Close your eyes." Sam complied reluctantly, and I gently cupped his cheek. "I'm right here with you." I whispered gently as I trailed my other hand along his arm. Sam swallowed, but remained tense. I looked at my hand, and the long black nails that weren't my own. "Sam." "You didn't say that when I was on my knees in front of you." We descended together, fully focused on each other. His expression shifted as he recalled our moment in the tent.
