Lisa's heart was pounding in her chest, and her palms were slick with sweat. She couldn't shake the feeling of dread that had settled over her since Adrien's arrival. As she paced the room, her mind was consumed with thoughts of what he might do next.

The atmosphere around her was seemingly lacking oxygen, as if the air had grown thick and heavy with tension, it did well in suffocating her. The only sound she could hear was the soft rustling of her clothes as she moved, and the occasional creak of the floorboards underfoot.
