Chapter 23.1: Love Me Like You Do

Nathalia’s POV

My eyes automatically closed the moment our lips met. He lifted me up, which made me encircle my arms around his neck and wrap my legs around his waist. His hands went down on my butt, supporting my weight.

Our lips were still locked to each other the moment he started to walk. In a snap of a finger, I suddenly found myself lying on our bed.

His kisses were aggressive, as if he was longing for this moment to happen. He then bit my lower lip, which made me moan. We were both catching our breath the moment he pulled away. I opened my eyes and found him already staring at me.

“I love you, Nathalia.”

This is the second time that he has said those words directly. Still, his voice sounds so sincere that it makes my heart flutter. Since the very first time those words slipped out of his mouth up until now, nothing has changed in the way he said them.
