Chapter Thirty

Jake's POV:

"I want to stay here with you. I knew you would like this place." I said.

"I want you to share everything with me. I want to know about your past. But it's difficult for me to see you hurt and angry,"

She placed her hand on my jaw and looked into my eyes.

I took the hold of her wrist and moved her hand to my lips. I kissed her fingers and she blushed. She had no idea how her words affect me and my heart.

"I don't want to hide anything from you that's why I brought you here," I said.

She moved closer to me and pressed her forehead on mine. We closed our eyes standing there while wind caressed our faces.

"I'm hungry," She mumbled.

I laughed at the timing of her words.

She frowned at me then shot me a short glare. I sobered up.

"What would you like to eat Miss Edwards?"

"Anything would be fine," she said.

"There's a very famous restaurant here. But we will need to drive there." I said.

"Let's go. I'll drive," she said.
