"That's the dumbest thing I've heard all day," Christy laughed shocking me. I thought she'd be pissed.

"What did you think was going to happen?" She asked as she stared at Josephine "did you think he was going to be with you after everything?"

"He would've if you weren't in the picture," she mumbled.

"He wouldn't just turn his love for her to you," I said trying to make her understand or stupid she was.
