Chapter 38 Drunk Carol

As I dance with Gabriel, I can’t help but think I feel that I’m dancing with Jack, is it the alcohol that’s messing with my mind or is it the loud music and lights.

I’m sweating so much, it’s so hot in the club or maybe it’s just me!

“I think we better leave beautiful.” Gabriel says to me.

“I agree with you.” I say smiling at him.

“It’s a bit hot in here, let’s go out for some air.” He says.

“Yes, I completely agree. Oh it’s really hot in here!”

“I can see that.” He says, looking at me.

We make our way out of the club and start walking around for a bit. It’s so nice just walking around with him.

He has his hand over my shoulder as we walk down the street together. It’s like 2:00 a.m. it’s so dark around here to be honest.

I don’t really know what I’m doing now. I feel completely delusional.

“Your dress is really cute on you.” He says, looking at me.

“Thanks.” I say.

He looks at me and I think he wants to kiss me. I know I’m drunk, but I just can’t get Jack out of my mind.
