Chapter Fifty-one

"I forgot to tell you that I would be meeting my cousin this afternoon." I immediately said while looking outside the window. The phone is still ringing and I wonder why is he not answering it yet. 

I cleared my throat when I notice that we are almost near in the university so I pointed the side of the highway with my forefinger before looking at him. He does the same so our eyes met before he parks on the sidewalk with his brows being furrowed. 

"Where to? I can send you there." 

I laughed. "Don't be such a nagger, Mister Dawson. We both know that you have some works to do and please, answer your phone, it keeps on ringing." I said before opening the car door. 

It seems like he just notice it the moment I told him that, making me roll my eyes. I purposely stand for a few seconds outside the door before closing it just to hear a little but he seem to notice me still standing, making him raise both of his brows.
