Desdemona

Fight or flight,my body chose the most useless response,freeze.

Ettiene on top of me looked as relaxed as someone in this situation could possibly be.

I could feel my eyes go wide. Whoever was standing on that door,I did not want to see their face. And I do not want them to see mine. So I sink I to the couch.

Ettiene gives me a funny look when he notices my action.

"Get off." I whisper yell.

He cocks his neck, looking at me like I had lost my mind to tell him that.

"She is busy." He states in a flat tone.

Oh God,I can't go further into the couch and he is not helping.

"I can see that."

I have never heard Kevin's voice that cold.

"Close the door on your way out."

"Actually," his voice sounds way closer than it had before. "You are the one who will close the door on your way out."

I glance to the other side and catch his eyes for a second. The way I turned my head to look away actually made my neck hurt.

"We have matters to discuss."
