Chapter 31 Big Baby

Lucky's POV

"I'm really sorry, Lucky."

I looked at Eliza and smiled at her. She's been apologizing since yesterday and it's starting to bother me. It's exhausting to hear the same words over and over again.

"It's really okay, Eliza. You didn't know I have allergies."

Her lips protruded. "Even so…"

"But is it true? You're pregnant?" It was Claire.

I chewed my bottom lip and slowly nodded. Silence filled us. Obviously, they're thinking Damien is the father. I want to tell them that he's not the father but I can't find myself to say it. If I deny Damien as the father of my child, then they'd think the baby is Peter's.

I can't risk the fact. I'll just leave it this way. Besides, Damien thought I'm pregnant with Peter's child. And if this reaches Peter, he might free me. Then, I'll leave it that way. It's better this way. But… What about Damien's girlfriend? What about Zandra Smith?
