Chapter Thirty Four

Regina's laughter filled my ears, and i watched them enter her unit, her hand pulling Lorcan's. I couldn't see his expression and i think I don't really want to see it, because i know it will break me more.

Didn't he really love her? Not even a bit? Why can't he say "no" to that woman? Is she that special to him?

But how about me...

"Stop sulking already." Atticus snapped, making me realize he's still here with me, he was the one to stop me from confronting the two!

Glaring, i faced him. "Why did you stop me? I was so close to know what was happening and then you came just to pull me back!" I struggled from his holds, he let me go.

"Even if you get to them, do you really think they would tell you what you want to know?" It shut me up. "But if you're determined enough to make yourself stupid in their eyes then, go ahead. Knock on her door and confront them, I won't stop you." He towered over me.

And i hate that he has a point. Guilty people wouldn't just admit what they have committed
