Chapter 7: Let's Get Married

Edmund said he will give me one day to think. He owned the hotel and he offered me a room for a night if I don’t want to go home. I decided to stay in his hotel for the night because I know Dad will just nag me. I also can’t go stay in Nina’s place because her parents are business associates of my dad and for sure they will refuse.

“Just use the intercom if there is anything you need, Miss Clarks,” said the hotel staff who led me to a deluxe suite.

She also left me some clothes and I’m sure the order came from Edmund.

I hurriedly took off my heavy wedding dress and changed into the clothes given to me before jumping to the queen-sized bed.

Because of tiredness, it didn’t take long for me to doze off.
