Amaya had finished giving her famous yearly lecture in a conference room packed with aspiring specialists in emergency medicine when hands lifted up immediately for clarification and questions which she skilfully tackled. Each one of them left more confident and knowledgeable. They had come from far and wide to hear her speak. Amaya was a legend in the speciality, some guidelines were based on her research. Not only that she was also one of the examiners, missing this lecture was regarded as a reckless move in the fraternity.
