Pagkagising niya kinaumagahan ay wala na sa higaan si Matt. They still spent the night on the same bed with the twins between them. Bumangon na rin siya. She fixed the blanket to cover the two kids.

Inaayos niya na ang mga gamit nila in a luggage.

“Mommy, are we going home?” Inaantok ang boses na tanong ni Chico.

“Yes. Mommy is okay now so we can go home.” Saglit niyang nilingon si Chico and he had his thinking look on.

“Ayaw mo ba?” Kinusot niya ang buhok nito pagkatapos.

Kinuha nito ang ilang mga shirts pa na nasa baba lang at inilapit sa kanya.

“Will daddy come home with us?”

Gabby put her hands over her heart and acted hurt, “You don't like mommy anymore?” balik-tanong niya kay Chico. It’s always her strategy to take their mind away from what they were asking, not answering their questions directly; but it was proving a little more difficult, especially with Chico.

“I like Daddy.”

“I’m not going anywhere,” Matt answered from the doorway.
