  Glenda bent her mouth, but she wasn\'t laughing at all.

Ruby walked to the window, turned her back to Glenda and looked at the snow on the ground outside the window.

\"When I was 4 years old, my parents divorced and my mother left with the pesticide seller in the town. I only remembered her back as she left at that time. For the most of me, I can’t even remember her face... My father took my sister and me to make a living by selling fruit. We live in a state of being chased by the urban management every day...\"

Ruby laughed at herself, \"I have been afraid of the police since I was a child. In my eyes, the police are not just. They are not good people. They force us to live a difficult life.\"
