"You look tired, were you unable to sleep last night?" Helen questions me at the dining table while we are having our breakfast.
Everyone stop their movement for a brief moment as their attention is diverted towards me, I look around and gulp down some saliva to my suddenly dry throat.
"I usually find it hard to sleep in new places" I give out a lame excuse but judging by everyone nodding their head I think it worked.
"Me too, whenever I'm visiting a pack I always stay up late. I fear that someone is going to attack us" Alex says while cutting his pancakes into bite size pieces, he takes a small piece and lifts the fork towards Helens awaiting mouth feeding her.
"That's you being delusional, no Alpha is stupid enough to get his guest Alpha killed. It would destroy him and his pack" Helen waves her hand before taking in another bite from Alex.
