Chapter 70: She refused to listen.

Desmond's POV:

I feel as if I stay around Vera for another second, I might just go insane.

I went to the hospital to see Vera, to see the doctor.

I donated a lot of money to them for their well-being and to help them, but they couldn't even tell me that the woman I was taking back to my house is crazy.

I was angry and frustrated at the whole situation.

Vera, my wife, wasn't listening to what I said and I think that if I let her stay in my mansion for long, she would turn my house upside down and chase Lucy out.

I had another problem that I don't know how to solve. Lucy was acting distant and she didn't want to engage in a conversation anymore. It was another thing that bothered me.

I just wonder if she was thinking about leaving, because Vera was harassing her at home when I wasn't around.

But whenever I am around Vera acts like a saint and I wonder if she knows that I heard all she has been doing and I wasn't at home.

Gosh that woman is a snake.
