SERENA’S POV:
Coming home late that Saturday night wasn't as I expected. I knew Alexander was gonna be mad at me for keeping him. My face was weary and my shoulders slumped. I saw Alexander pacing back and forth, immediately he confronted me.”Where have you been all day, Serena”? He lashes out angrily.
“I was at Mr. Vincent's house, sorting out some work-related issues,” I said defensively, but Alex remained suspicious. When did he become so overly possessive of me? “Mr. Vincent's house? Really? And what were you doing there all day”?
“It's not what you think, Alexander. It was strictly professional”.
