I never invited her over. Besides I remember Nelly helped me up to my room before leaving. So how did Samantha get here this early in the morning. She doesn't come this early so I have to ask.

"Nelly told me what happened. That's why I came." She replied sitting beside me on the bed.

Nelly is such a pain in the ass. Why did he have to call my sister? I don't want mom to find out anything happened, I decided to investigate like he suggested. But I will stay away from Carla in the meantime.

"You don't have to. I am fine, I will rather be alone." I said looking away to prevent her from seeing the hurt in my eyes.

"You should be able to talk to me Jayden. I wouldn't be here if I didn't care about you. I was worried when Nelly told me everything. I am afraid Jayden, I don't want history to repeat itself. You may not be lucky this time."

I looked at her, "No history is going to repeat itself. I won't let that bring me down. You don't have to worry about me."
