Chapter 55

Two days passed with Sarah lying on the chair with no sign of going to work. She had spent the past two days crying and self-blaming.

Chelsea walked into the living room and stared at her.

"Are you not going to work even today?" she asked.

"To do what? My face is probably reminding him of what he is about to lose," she replied.

Chelsea took a seat. "How is this any of your fault?" she asked.

Sarah raised her swollen eyes to meet her friend's.

"I thought you said you did not want to hear any of my shit from work?" Sarah asked.

"I have seen the online bashing, and even though the jerk deserves it, I kind of feel sorry for him," Chelsea replied.

Sarah got up, "It's my fault, Chelsea, they used me to distract Ezra," she cried out, explaining to her friend how she was used.

Chelsea's Jaw dropped, she could not have seen it too. Liam was good, very good. Most family feuds involved bloodshed or framing each other, but he used love against his brother.
