Sarah slowly staggered to the car, her legs heavy and her heart on the verge of bursting.

Everything that Marian said was correct.

She was a terrible person, it didn't matter whether it was Ezra or someone else's son or brother, but the fact still remained that she agreed to spy on someone and in the process hurt them.

Worse, Liam was honest enough to tell her about the person and his condition. And instead of pitying them she selfishly agreed to spy on them.

She was a horrible, pathetic person who could do anything for money. Or maybe even kill. Ezra was in the right not to give her the opportunity to hear her side of the story.

If she thought about it, there was no side to her story. She was guilty, Liam did not force. In fact she begged him to give her the job.

Claiming she was desperate for a job sounded like a witch pleading for mercy.

Chelsea ran to her and said, "Did you talk to Ezra? What did he say?" she asked.

"Home… Let us just go home," Sarah whispered, her voice hoarse.
