In The Alpha's Arms

I've been enchanting the spell and waking up my ancestors to bestow me with the gift of magic.

After some time of silence and failure, just when an inkling of giving up for the night ran through my body, my brain froze and the weather started ti get worse. I began to hear loud whispers and as I wished to open my eyes, I found my body being shaken up by many hands on my back.

It was the scariest feeling ever, I had started to feel an extreme headache. My whimpers left without my knowledge.

I couldn't even tell how badly I was suffering and whimpering in pain when all of a suddenly I was shaken awake from the trance by Conrad.

"Stop! You don't need to do this." He was holding me tightly from my arms and spoke determinedly.

I was panting and gasping for ear, my vision blurred due to the tears of fear and terror.

"You don't need to do anything, Cordelia." He whispered and pulled me even closer on his chest and hugged me. I found myself sobbing and shivering
