Marcus's POV

Fear surged in my system. Miscarriage. One word, but it shattered me into pieces.

I felt like I lost my strength, and I feel like dying just thinking of it.

When I felt Lillian squeeze my hand, I turned my head to her. She smiled at me as if assuring me that everything will be okay.

I let out a deep breath, brushing away the fear inside me, because I needed to be strong for her and our child.

I turned my head to Dr Fernandes. "Is she allowed to move around, or is it best if she just stays in bed?"

"Moving around is fine. It is also advisable for Lillian to walk around as her form of exercise to make her body stronger, but of course, she shouldn't move excessively. Everything should be in moderation. And please make sure that the baby gets proper nutrients," she said, then smiled at me.
