SeoRaksan: Part A

Lizzian's Head

The paths of the Seoraksan are as familiar as the back of my hand. I can cross every nook and walk around every corner with closed eyes. Every slippery slope where I used to crawl without a care in the world calls out to me. The rock bottom where I feasted on freshly laid eggs stares at me with accusing eyes.

‘Where have you been all this long?’ It whines in a hushed whisper.

Nodding, the shushing wind that brought a misty fragrance of river, agrees. Still, the land that stretched beyond it, welcomes me with open arms—every tiny detail engraved in my memory that has resurfaced like a broken dam.

‘You sure you want to take your stroll here, Luna?’ A dreadful voice somehow has gathered the courage to question my decision.

Craning my neck a bit, I glare at her hotly. I badly want those laser lights in my eyes to burn whoever summons my inner demon.
