Kitchen Disaster

The sound of the door being kicked open was loud enough as it hit the wall and fell wide open. Sharlynn seemed to struggle as she carried two paper bags filled with groceries that covered half her face. Once inside, she kicked the door shut.

"It's pretty heavy. Complicated. Turns out the grocery line is this long," Sharlynn complained as she arrived in the kitchen and placed two bags of groceries on the counter. She let out a frustrated breath, causing the slanted bangs of her hair to rise as well.

Glancing at the watch on her wrist, Sharlynn rolled her eyes. Not because it was already noon, but...

"I can sell my watch to increase my savings. Oh, silly Sharlynn, why didn't I sell it yesterday?" Sharlynn gently patted her forehead. "That's a pretty good idea. I'll sell it online; the box and certificate seem left at the mansion."
