Chapter 39: Fertilizer Part 5

Luna quickly got dressed and rushed outside to see what was happening. She saw a group of angry villagers throwing rotten chicken eggs at the house she was staying in. They were shouting and accusing her of being a thief who wanted to steal their village's wealth.

Luna was shocked and confused. She had only arrived in the village in several days and had not even had a chance to meet most of the villagers. She had no idea why they would think she was there to steal from them.

"What's going on?" Luna asked one of the villagers. "Why are you doing this?"

"You're a thief!" the villager shouted. "We know you're here to steal our wealth!"

"I'm not a thief!" Luna protested.

Luna had even explained her purpose for coming to the village, which was to build a new water source and also do some trading, with Luna buying compost fertilizer from the farmers in the village.

But the villagers would not listen. They continued to shout and throw eggs, and eventually, they started to chase Luna away.
