050: Rejecting The Ophidian Princess

Could it be his wife would've been eaten by the were-cannibals if Drococavillain hadn't shown her whereabouts through his magic mirror? Finlay pondered deeply over this as he stared at Ophelia who was still deep in sleep. She hadn't woken up in the past six hours, but her knife bruise was healing.

They were at the Ophidian Kingdom, along with Lewis and the other three men. Daeneria and Drococavillain had taken them with the help of Dracaena, the giant snake who could grow as tall as a tower. Finlay couldn't turn them down because they had helped him in rescuing his wife and his men.

Finlay heaved deeply and looked away from Ophelia who was still on the king-sized bed. Daeneria had requested they have her there so she could have a good place of rest whilst she was healing. Finlay couldn't trust them, but he had no choice.

"Yes, my lord?" His Beta ran to his side immediately.

"Tell me how it happened," he breathed out, turning to face her.
