113: Caught Again

Cameron and Ophelia woke up the next morning and were found everywhere dead silent. It was as if all the men had left.

Ophelia made to stand up but Cameron wordlessly told her not to, with his hand on her wrist.

Slowly and carefully, he peeped outside the tent through the small parting and then he hardened his jaw before returning his gaze to Ophelia.

"What is it?" Ophelia ensured her voice was low when she asked. It was almost in a whisper.

"Whatever happens, make sure you don't come out," Cameron told her in a firm tone, and then he left without casting her one last glance.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the impostor who has decided to wake up from his joyful sleep," this remark was made by Cestus when Finlay walked away from the tent to meet him.

He had arrived with his men and they had beaten Spanner and his men, before tying them up and then gagging their mouths.
