When we finish our coffees we say our goodbyes and I head back to the town hall. It’s amazing how much better I feel after a catch up with Leah , I honestly love that girl and I’m beyond happy things have worked out so well for her. Her advise makes me chuckle as I get closer to the town hall. Imagine me trying to casually mount Matt as he’s doing some paperwork in his office or something. He’d shit himself ! I would love to see him names though. From what I’ve already seen the man is built like a Greek god so I definitely wouldn’t be mad at the chance to run my tongue down his body.
Thinking about it I’ll have to leave anyway and like Leah said just before we left “if you don’t do it, You’ll either always regret it or wonder what if” I’m already wondering what if and I haven’t even left the pack yet. The drive back to the pack house is full of tension. My skin tingles being so close to her and the smell of her excitement surrounds us like perfume. I wake up a few hours later in Matts bed. I vaguely remember him carrying me to his room and cuddling up next to me. I glance over at the alarm clock. It’s just after 2am. Shit Geoffs gonna kill me. There’s no longer pack patrol guarding the town hall. They are either fighting around us or elsewhere in the territory. Rogues are everywhere and I can’t see Luca or Leah. My palms tingle again and I look down to find the marks glowing. Ok weird but I don’t have time to question it as two rogues have spotted me and are now lunging. When I find out who’s behind these attacks I’m going to personally rip them limb from limb. Zeus growls in agreement as he runs from rogue to rogue ripping out throats with his teeth. The pack house is rammed. We’ve made use of all the rooms to set up the pack and make mini infirmaries to treat the wounded. Even as I’m here gathering more towels and dressings to use the death count rises. The last update was 20 minutes ago and we were told 32 members of the pack had died. The territory is being scouted by patrol to look for more survivors and in some cases bring the bodies of the dead back. I grit my teeth as I think off those who died protecting their homes.
