Arieon woke up to the steady beeping of the heart monitor and the smell if antiseptic. She tried to sit up straight but the wires attached to her arms wouldn't let her. Her gaze fell on Enzo who was asleep beside her. His head was on her lap with his hands interlinked with hers.She didn't know why her heart sped up or why she felt great in her cheeks. Two months passed, everything went back to normal. Arieon's baby bump was becoming bigger and visible. Arieon went with Agatha for the ultrasound. She almost bursted out of tears when she saw the image of the small foetus growing inside her.To top it all, the baby was a boy. When she told Enzo, he nearly lost his cool. Enzo wasn't the happiest person today. His mind was too far away and he had a very distant and cold look on his face. Last night, Arieon decided to wait for him but he didn't come home until midnight.
