The next morning, Chance was out enjoying coffee with Aurora. As she was showing him pictures of their family.
"And this is our grandmother, but she allows us to call her Kathy instead of grandma. Says it makes her feel extra old."
"This is too much to take in all at once," Chance sighed.
"I know, sorry. I'm just excited."
Chance gave her hand a gentle pat. “It's fine. But I think we should let things flow. Now I want you to help me with something. I want to find the perfect gift for Kristoff."
Aurora's eyes gleamed. She clapped her hands together. "This I definitely can help with. Come on."
"I still haven't finished my coffee."
"Forget your coffee. We have a mission to get Kristoff the best gift ever."
Chance gave her a look.
"Or you can bring your coffee with you." Aurora suggested.
She sat waiting as her newly found brother finished his hot drink, swinging her foot and text her boyfriend.
