As promised, Kristoff had opened Chance's eyes to a dazzling new world and a life he never imagined. Taking him everywhere, from erotic rainforest adventures, Film Festivals in France, and whale watching in Alaska. Any I*******m traveller would be jealous.
Kristoff even planned on enrolling Chance in a linguist class and a Mathematics, so that he could match up to him. Sure, Chance was street smart, but that wasn't enough. And his good looks wouldn't bring him through forever.
He needed to be educated so that others won't take advantage of him, educated enough to get a job and someday be on the same level as Kristoff.
Kristoff wanted the best for his new friend, hence, why he was plying him with the finest delicacies and jewelries, custom-made suits, a car, and a penthouse in the city's heart. Kristoff even promised to buy him a private jet and a yacht. Which Chance declined, thinking that his new friend was only trying to buy his way into his bed.
Still not knowing how their friendship blossomed from a drink, then movies, to trips and fancy dinners. Sure, he didn't mind, but he was still skeptical of Kristoff, who would drop the; take him to bed ever so subtle, ever now and then.
Chance didn't mind. All he did was ignore Kristoff's advances. The world was now his for the taken and he would do just that. Take all that is offered while continuing to ignore Kristoff.
The thing is, Chance wanted him, just not in the way Kristoff wanted him.
The door to the hotel room that they were staying in was pushed open and in walked Kristoff, looking sharp as ever, with his head held high and full of cockiness.
"Here, new Gucci fit.'' Kristoff dropped three bags of Gucci watches, shirts, pants and shoes, before Chance; who made a face, ready to protest, as he would always complain about Kristoff's lavish spending.
"Don't start my friend, you deserve it.''
"I did nothing for you to be spending on me this much. I feel like a cheap wh*ore.''
"My money is bottomless." Kristoff cracked a smile, wanting and imagining treating Chance as he was such. Even if he was just a lowly man and nothing more than a stray dog.
Kristoff looked over Chance's attire, thinking to himself. Not even he knew why he liked Chance, but there was something about him. Something that nobody else brought to his life. Maybe it was the challenge or just the fact that Chance really wasn't in it for the money.
'But why him? Why Chance?' Someone he will never get and probably lose when nothing entices him anymore.
"Come on, you know I don't mind spending on you.''
Chance walked over to the balcony, looking out to the open sea of their Grand Bahamian suite. The two had packed three months of travel into only three weeks, rarely sleeping, and becoming inseparable.
"What are you thinking about?'' Kristoff went to lean on the door leading to the outside, where the air was fresh.
"All this, I am not used to this lifestyle.''
"What, nonsense. It is like you were born for this.'' Kristoff scoffed. "We are so much alike.''
"No, we are not. We hardly have anything in common. And I feel like I'm your little bi*ch. I am not your woman.''
Kristoff gave a smile. "you could be.''
"Can you please stop with that already? You do not know how uncomfortable it makes me feel.''
Kristoff gave a nod, even though he knew he wouldn't stop pursuing Chance. And knew that he would wear down his friend somehow, which he thinks he already is. Just the way Chance snuck glances his way made it known.
"Anyway, the driver will be coming soon. Nothing a mid-day scuba diving then mingling with the locals.'' Kristoff winked.
''And by locals, you mean that girl, who seems barely older than 16?''
"She is 18, willing to do a three-some and show us how to remove a conch from its shell.''
"You should be more careful Kristoff.''
"Worried about me?''
"Yes, because you can be stupid at times.''
Kristoff cracked a smile.
Chance looked away from him, "wait, what about the girl from the bank?"
"Oh, her. She could join.'' Kristoff shrugged.
Chance shook his head.
''Honestly, don't you think all this is a little bit excessive? I mean, slow down with the sexy and all the spending.''H
''Stop worrying that handsome head of your, we are on a beautiful island so relax. That's what I'm doing.''
There was so much he wanted to say to Kristoff, but held it in. Doubting his friend would see reasoning or even care what he had to say.
He never listened to him about how much he spent, and he knew he never will.
Chance seemed more worried about Kristoff than how Kristoff did for himself. He was worried about him and all the spending and people only liking him for all the wrong reasons, but Kristoff wouldn't care much about any of that.
"I'm going to change, maybe you would like to join me, sweetheart.''
"Jesus Christ. Can you stop with that already?''
Kristoff gave a smirk as he turned away, not bothering to close his bedroom door. He wanted to give Chance a show and get a reaction out of him. And so, he slowly removed his long sleeve brown button-down shirt, then his jeans pants.
He took a quick glance behind him just in time to see Chance looking away.
Kristoff moved away from his door and over to his suitcase. Chance shifted a bit so he could see what Kristoff was doing, not realising that Kristoff was watching him lick his lips through the mirror.
Again, a smirk graced Kristoff's lips. He knew Chance had feelings for him, but he was only hiding it.
''Ready then?'' Kristoff asked, coming out of his room, pulling his shirt down.
He made sure to make a show of it, just so that Chance could get a better view of his washboard abs.
"Yes, but I don't think I'm in the mood for scuba. Maybe just food.'' Chance said, truth being. He never learnt to swim and had bad claustrophobia.
"Now where is the fun in that?''
''I can't swim.'' Chance bleated out, not really up for any smart-a*s remarks from Kristoff.
"Then I can teach you, there is no problem with it.''
"I don't want-''
"yes you do, now come on. Take that sexy a*s over here. Sorry.'' Kristoff held his hand up after receiving a look from Chance.
''Crystal is waiting.'' Kristoff added.
Chance opened his mouth to say something but thought against it.
Ten minutes later, the duo was in the front seat of a sand buggy, with Crystal and another friend in the back.
"I can't believe you can't swim.'' The girl caressed Chance's shoulder, which he politely shrug her off
Seeing this, Kristoff piped up. "That's why I'll be teaching him to swim.''
Kristoff rest a hand on Chance's thigh. To both their surprise, he didn't pull away or brush the hand off.
"Take the next left, and the beach will be right in front of you.'' Crystal said, running her hands down Kristoff's chest.
"Can you not do that.'' Chance's tone came out harsher than he wanted it to.
When Kristoff gave him a look, he turned away then said. ''You're driving, the distraction no matter how small can cause you to hit someone.''
Kristoff grinned to himself.
''Come on Americans, paradise awaits.'' Crystal said, taking off her top as her friend followed suit.
"Ready for this?'' Kristoff asked, too striping down to his speedo.
Chance looked him over from head to toe, then dragged his eyes. "Don't come near me in that.''
Kristoff playfully slapped Chance on the a*s, almost earning himself a punch.
"Can you help me get my back?'' Kristoff held out the sunscreen for Chance to grease him up. "No funny business.'' Chance took it from him. "When have I ever tried anything?'' Kristoff tried to play dumb. "You are not cute.'' Chance whispered in his ears, causing him to shiver and lean into him. Chance pushed him away. ''That's exactly what I am talking about.'' "Sorry, but you smell nice.'' ''It's the Tom F-. Listen, can you stop with all this? I told you plenty of times that I'm not interested in men and especially not when that man is you.'' Chance pushed him again. "Chance, as much as I would love to kill my feelings for you, I can't.'' "You don't have feelings for me Kristoff, and I suggest that whatever is going on in that thick head of yours, you let it go.'' "It's not so easy.'' "Are you two coming or not?'' Crystal asked, cutting off whatever Chance had to say. Chance cut his eyes
"We never speak of this.'' Kristoff said, on their drive back to their hotel."What? That you didn't know what couch is, how can you not know though?''"I just always thought it was a fancy name for a fish.''Chance let out a laugh. ''And what about caviar? Do you know what that is?''Kristoff paused. "of course. Fish eggs.''"You had to think about it.''"I'm driving Chance.''Chance scoffed, then tickled Kristoff, causing him to swerve."Don't do that. I'm driving.'' Kristoff straighten in his seat.
3 years, and 4 months. That was how long Kristoff hadn't seen or heard from Chance. It was as if he had vanished completely from the face of the earth. He spent days thinking nothing of Chance, trying to find him or contact him. While Chance's mind would drift to Kristoff only once in a while, which he hated, hated what Kristoff had done to him. He tried his hardest to forget, forget the kiss, the sensation, the pleasure. But Kristoff refused to let that night go. He wanted more, more of Chance and for their relationship to take off.'Where are you?' Kristoff would wonder, searching collage after collage. Campus, after campus, to find Chance.Their separation had gone on long enough. It was as if his other half was missing, or a part
"Don't tell me I have to chase after you again?'' Chance glanced back at his former friend, wondering how he found him and why he even came after him. "Chance, can you please just give me a chance.'' Kristoff yelled then laughed. "No, but seriously,. can you please forgive me? I know that I have violated you and I'm sorry, I miss our friendship and you.'' "No, you miss always trying to fu*ck me, now get lost.'' "No, my friend. We have lost each other for far too long.'' Chance paused at another cross sign, giving Kristoff enough opportunity to catch up. Where he rested one hand on Chance's shoulder and the other on his hip. Chance shrugged him off. ''Why are you here?'' "For you, Chance, don't you miss me?'' "I miss not seeing your face and having your annoyance around.'' "You're just saying that.'' "Jesus, can you just leave me alone. Haven't you had enough already? You have the entire world in your han
Chance lay in his bed thinking back to seeing Kristoff for the first time in so long. He didn't know how to react. First, he was taken aback by his killer good looks. He knew that handsome men were in Colombia, but Kristoff's beauty was incomparable. He hated that Kristoff had an effect on him, and all those years, he thought he got him out of his head. But no, just that first glimpse of Kristoff brought back those feelings he tried his hardest to hide. He didn't know if it was the playfulness in his eyes, that damn smirk he always wore when he knew he was right, or just him, everything about him. Change sighed, then rolled to his side. He just couldn't help but think of Kristoff. The arrogant prick had got way under his skin, wormed his way into his heart and consumed his mind. Almost taking over his life, for the first few months Kristoff was all he could think of and every day for that time, to almost a year, he was all he saw. 'Could I really be with a ma
"Can we go again? I think I faintly heard you asking for more. I could be wrong, but I'm never wrong." Kristoff gave a lopsided grin. "You fucking asshole, you just forced me into doing something I didn't want to. Isn't that enough?" "Now, now my dare, Chance, I didn't force you. You gave yourself to me, you want me, so stop hiding it." "Leave!" "No, I have nowhere to go." "Fine, stay, but the bed is yours." "Where will you sleep?" "On the street, I'm used to it." Chance declared, pulling his shirt down and searched for his shoes.
The last thing Chance remembered was telling Kristoff to get off him, before he felt himself growing dizzy as he fell into sleep.Instantly dreaming about the day his mother allowed her pimp to abuse him and set his pit bull on him after. He was out doing things for Dwayne, things he hated doing.Dwayne would always send him on drug exchange for money from people that owed him. And to rob the convenient store so that Dwayne could eat.Chance would get beat up each time, go back to the almost fallen apart house with no money or food, and get beat up again. He hated his mother, always blaming her for the life he lived. He was seen as
Chance woke to something caressing his face. At first he moaned and mumbled, then swat at what it was. He opened his eyes to see Kristoff smiling face. There was shock, hatred, and annoyance flashing across his face all at once."You sick fuck." Chance gritted out, punching Kristoff in the chest so hard that he almost fell off the bed.Kristoff made a huff sound, rubbing at the spot. "Well, good morning to you too, sweetheart. By the way, what were you dreaming about? Who died?"A horrified look flashed across Chance's face, which quickly turned to anger."Never call me that! And mind your own damn business!" Another punch landed in Kristoff's face, drawing blood.Chance climbed on top of Kristoff, wrapping his hand around his neck, squeezing with all his might. But that seem to only turn Kristoff on as he was grinning up at him, with a glint in his eyes."Ready for round two, I see." Kristoff rocked his hips, grinding his already stif
