I’m so excited to see Cass. I miss being able to just shift and run, even though Bella understands it’s for safety reasons. I was still stir crazy though and Cass coming to visit for a few days will be a great distraction.

I pulled my bag out from under my bed, intending to finish up some last minute stuff for graduation. My dad and Chase’s had already spoken to the school and I would finish up the remaining classes online, another safety measure. A few minutes into my studying, a knock sounded on the door.

I hopped up, expecting to see Cass, bouncing around in excitement. Instead, a note slid under the door.

Confused, I picked it up and slid it out of the envelope.
