“So you’re telling me Hibiki killed this guy?” Hachiro asked for the twelfth time as we loaded the prick’s body into the truck of the station wagon. “Why is that so unbelievable? My husband is a cop… or was. Whatever. It’s not like he’s some schmuck who’s never handled a weapon.” I rolled my eyes, slamming the trunk closed.

I groaned as the sound of frantic knocking on the door cut through my sleep. “Huh.. what the?” I rubbed my eyes, sitting up. Yūri was awake and already had her hand on the gun.
