I listened to every bit of what my dear sister was saying. It was unbelievable but it was true, she was right and I hated myself for accepting that she was right.

Still, she shouldn’t have killed our parents. “Justice isn't always black and white. These were lives destroyed, families shattered. Our parents were masters of deception. They had their chains in the law system and never would they be arrested. I couldn't let them continue their reign of darkness unchecked.”

I wanted to argue, to find a flicker of hope amidst the chaos, but deep down, I understood her anguish.
