"This..This isn't supposed to be here."

I was blank for a few minutes. Perhaps I was mistaken. The men could have dragged it here. But no, I was leaning here all this while and they did not come close to me. Also, Alex told me he and his men didn't enter the house, they waited till I came.

I stared at the desk in front of me, my eyes widened with a mix of surprise and confusion. I wasn't sure if I was right or not, but then, I tried to remember. I couldn't forget any memories made in this house. They came back, the memories, they came back as soon as I stepped foot in this house, the memories flooded my mind as I recalled where the desk used to be.
