"Yeah, it's not the same." Mom rolls her eyes. Her bag is wheeled out of the back of the car by Scott. Since this morning, he's been quiet and I couldn't come up with a reason he's like that. "Give me a hug too would you?" Mom asks Scott.
He looks uncomfortable but still goes to hug her I stiffle a smile. She looks so small in his arms because of his height and it has me knowing that's how I look like toi when we hug in public.
"Take care of yourself...and her" Mom tells Scott.
