It was one of those days when time didn’t pass. The hands of the clock were just frozen in one place and they were not planning to move anytime soon. A few hours left.

He couldn’t wait to get back home to his mate. He'd never thought it would be like this. His job had been his life since he could remember. It had always been the most important thing to him, the way it had been for his father.
