Reina's POV

Being here was everything, with my kids and family. I felt relieved at how things had turned out, and I could finally take in that breath that had been locked in my head for quite some time now.

“ Richard…” my head spun around as I took a long gaze at him. He looked lost, like something was on his mind but when our eyes locked on each other, he let out a forced smile on his face, holding the hands that I had offered him.

“ What's wrong?” I inquired.

He let out a gasp before shaking his head to the side. I wondered if that was done to make me not worry or rather worry less because it did nothing to help. “You should tell me if anything is bothering you,” I offered.

He gasped in, before sitting beside me. His eyes went to the little picture by the bedside. “ You have always been pretty” his hands went to my lower back, his smile soft and gentle like he could get lost in my eyes forever.
