Chapter Three

Five pm in the afternoon, but still I didn't want to go home, baka kung anong drama na naman ang mangyari, it's better if I stay a little bit longer, para pag dumating nako sa bahay diretso pasok na sa kwarto. I really want to avoid Rigel while the words he said to me earlier maintains in my head.

It's already nine pm and even I didn't noticed the time, while I'm walking around the park.

And since it's getting late and cold I thought of going home, and I bet Rigel is in deep sleep right now.

So I quickly hopped on to a tricycle, good thing my Rhex taught me how to.

When I finally arrived at home I saw the light outside is still on, meaning that Rigel's still awake, when I opened the door slowly I saw Rigel standing in front of the door, crossing his arms. But I just ignored him and putted away my bag.

"You're late," he said, while I'm taking off my shoes. But I didn't answered.

"Fine! Go on and be stubborn, here eat this!" he said and put a paper bag infront of me.

When I looked at the paper bag I saw the Jollibee logo, and unemotionally looked at him

"I had a conference meeting, and that was my snack, since I was full I thought of bringing that here, whatever, I don't care anyway, just don't go home late again, or else your father would kill me," he said and slammed ths door of his room.

I quickly took out the food inside the paper bag and saw a fried chicken with rice, burger and a fries. At first I thought of not eating it since Rigel shouted at me earlier, but my since I was hungry, I just ate it.

While happily eating it I looked inside the paper bag and was about to crumble it when I saw a receipt. And saw the time when I was bought, 8:30 pm.

And that made my eyes widened.

He lied? So he cares about me? He cares na baka di pa ako kumain? Omg!

"Another day!" I said while brushing my teeth and fixing my bed hair.

I immediately went outside when I saw Rigel cooking food, and made my tummy grolwed when I smelled the aroma of the food, but sadly wala akong sali sa food na yon, and just took a bath with a low spirit.

When I finally finished taking a bath then quickly take on my uniform and was about to go out the house when Rigel was again standing right in front the door.

"A-alis nako, padaan," I said while smiling a bit.

"Kumain ka muna," he said in a low voice.

Bat biglang bumait to? Kagabi pa to ah, baka na konsenya.

"Akala ko kany-," di ko pa natapos Ang sasabihin ko ay agad na tinulak ako ni Rigel papuntang lamesa.

"Just eat," 

While we're quietly having our breakfast Rigel just took my attention by making the AHMMM sound.

"What?" I asked.

"Let's change the rules," he answered.

"What rules?" 

"Yong kanya kanyang pagkain, after class meet me outside your campus susundo-in kita, we're going to the supermarket," he said and stood up.

"San tayo kukuha ng pera? Eh 150 nalang yong natural sa'kin, pera mo?" I asked.

"Just, shut up and eat," he answered now washing his plate.

"By the way, Avyanna," 

"Yep?" 

"I'm sorry," he said and quickly ran towards his room and slammed it.

Ehh??? Did he just said sorry? I never heard him say that, baka gutom lang to?

I just ignored he's sorry issue and took quickly ran outside, baka na late nako.

My eyes suddenly opened when I heard the door being slammed, I bet I was Rigel again.

I immediately stood up and check what time is it, and saw it was already 7:20 am.

"What's with Rigel always slamming the door? Habit n'ya ba yon sa kanila?" I said now fixing my hair and took a shower.

                            ****

Recess time, and me and Tristan, or Kit planned to eat together.

"The hell with Xali suddenly? Bat biglang nag paalam umalis?" kit said while waiting in line.

"I don't know, maybe she just wanna chill or something, yaan mo na, bat nag reklamo ba kami? Wala ka nga noong kinasa-," I immediately covered my mouth when I almost slipped my mouth, Kit doesn't know that I'm already married.

"Hah? Kinasa? Ano yon?" he said while eyebrows being furrowed.

"Hah? Ang ano?" I said while awkwardly laughing.

"Pucha , Yong kinasa, wag ano d'yan ituloy mo, i-isipin ko talaga yan ng mag damag kung di mo itu-tuloy," he said while putting some rice on his tray.

"Kinasa, yong baril, oo, kinasa ko yong baril ni Manong Jun last time, sayang wala ka nun," I said without looking straight to his eyes, baka mahalata niya pa.

"Ahhh, sige na nga, oh? Bat yan lang laman ng tray mo babae?" He said pointing at my tray na Ang laman isang sandwich na tig 20 pesos at isang juice na tig 5 pesos.

"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked.

"Look, dude I never saw you eating without your tray being full, halos ubosin mo nga laman ng cafeteria sa takaw mo eh, bat yan lang?" he asked.

"Alam mo Kit, napaka daming tanong mo, Wala akong ganang kumain okay? Diet ako," I lied now pushing him to our spot.

"Ikaw? Mag di-diet? Eh kahit kainin mo buong paninda sa mall ng tatay ko eh di ka tataba ket isang katiting, t'ska diba sabi ko sayo wag mokong tawaging Kit, Tristan pangalan ko Avy, Tristan," he said while pointing at me.

"Wow ah compliment ba yon, o pang la-lait?" I said now eating my sandwich.

"Pwede both?" He answered grinning.

"Damn you," I hissed.

"Oy! Yong Englisherang anak ni Michael nag mura! Lah, sumbong Kita kay Tito!" he said shouting.

Because of what he said I was about to laugh when the sandwich who's inside my mouth choked me.

"Ay ampocha, sige yang juice mo inomin mo," he said, now panicking.

Kahit naubos ko na ang juice na napaka maliit ay di tumalab ang sandwich na nasa lalamunan ko.

"Holy damn, wait here kunan kita ng tubig," he said and immediately ran.

While i was dying while waiting for Kit finally he arrived and gave me a glass of water.

"Yan, sige inomin mo pa, okay kana?" he asked when the sandwich finally drowned.

I just gave him a thumbs up while catching my breath and drinked another glass of water.

"Lt ka, Avy, dahil sa ka abnormalan mo halos lahat ng Tao naka tingin sayo," he said.

And because of that the water inside me blew into his face, making him wet.

"Woy, sorry sorry," I said wiping his face with my handkerchief, but he just grabbed my and and slowly took the handkerchief in my hand.

"May galit ka ba sa'kin Avy?" he said while continues to wipe his face.

"Peace Lang, ikaw kasi," I said awkwardly laughing.

"Oo, hakdog ka," he said putting my handkerchief besides him.

"Akin na," I said trying to take my handkerchief back.

"Arbor," he said and continues to eat, like nothing happened.

After class I immediately ran off the gate of my campus and waited for Rigel.

We are in the same school but our campus isn't, there are juniors and seniors campus, while iba naman ang campus sa college students.

And finally Rigel arrived while riding a car. His car.

Wait? Bat nasa kanya car niya? Tapos yong akin kinuha? Unfair.

I was about to open the shotgun seat but it was locked.

"Oy! Bat sarado!" I shouted.

"Sa likod ka, may sasakay d'yan," he said while lowering down the window.

"Fine," I said and sat at the back.

"Teka, Sino u-upo d'yan?" I asked while waiting for the traffic light to go green.

"My girlfriend," he said making me speechless, and gave him a simple nod.

He has a girlfriend? 

He had a girlfriend while marrying me?

While we're on the way to Ust where her girlfriend's school is, but I was quiet the whole time, not like the usual na walang oras na hindi ako tatahimik para makipag usap sa kanya kahit na minsan lait sinasagot , niya.But this time I didn't. 

"Hi Babe," the girl said now sitting in the shotgun seat, and saw how flirty her outfit is duh, just a ripped shorts and a croptop, and yuck she smells like she just smoked.

"How was your day?" He asked. 

Buti patong halimparot na tinatanong kung kelan araw niya, teka edi araw paden, Bobo. 

"Fine, how about you Babe?" she said now looking at te back, parag ngayon nya lang ata ako napansin or sadyang papansin siya.

"Oh? Who is she? Kanina ka pa dyan? I didn't see you, hi there," she saiid smiling at me.

But instead of answering I just mimicked what she said and rolled my eyes over hers.

"She's just my cousin babe, don't worry I just need to watch her for now," Rigel said not lloking at me, and made my heart partially broke.

Im your wife! Not your cousin! i shouted into my head, trying to behave and do anything.

Hours later the three of us bought many things in the super market. Nakaka pikon lang, while we're walking the both of them held hands while ako? Nasa likod parang anak nila, like geez! That should be me! 

After going to the mall the both of them planned to have a dinner date kasali ako, but I insisted to go home, without saying a word to Rigel and took a bus.

While I was looking outside the busses window I played my lips, trying to stop my tears.

Unfair Rigel, your so unfair.

But in hes side he thinks that hes fair, he thought that we was just helping me, us by marrying me, but no, damn no. 

While whipping my tears I remembered Rigels face earlier while holding hands, talking with the Ust girl.

He indeed loves that girl, because he laughed with her, smiled at her and even stare at her, even once Rigel didn't do anything for me, except for the stare, the stare with blazing knives on it.

Morning! When I finally woke up from the worst night I ever had I happily walked inside the bathroom while dancing.

"Avyanna, breakfast!" Rigel shouted and I immediately ran to the kitchen with a smile.

"Yey! Eggs and bacons!" I screamed.

"Just shut up and eat," he said.

"So, Rigel how was your date with your girlfriend huh?" I innocently asked while eating.

"You mean Sarah? Hmm fine, and none of your business," he said making my eyebrows curled.

"Rigel," I called.

"What now?" he replied.

"Do you hate me?" and because of that question made him stop at eating. 

"I don't hate you, I just don't like you, lalo na mga kalokohan mo," he said.

"Is there a chance na maging totoo tong marriage na to? Rigel? I mean what if you like me too?" I said directly.

"Yeah, sure, but malabo, I don't like you and I never will," he said and made me stop eating.

"Oh? Totoo ba? What if kung mahulog ka rin sakin? Don't worry, ill do my best para magustohan moko Rigel," i said happily. 

"Heck no," he hissed.

"Do you love her? Your girlfriend?" I asked again, making him a lil bit pikon.

Wala pang limang segondo he nodded.

"Yes, why? You have a plan on breaking us apart? Huh? Anong sasabihin mo na asawa moko? Ganun ba?" he said while pointing his fork at me.

"No, why would I do that? If that makes you happy, while im not go for it, but just don't forget that ill be right here, okay?" I said smiling.
