Oblivious

The sun rolled in and Jessica opened her eyes, blinded by the bright morning sun. She looked at her naked body laying between the sheets. Next to her Rudy snores loudly.

Grabbing her phone from the pedestal she looked at the time. It was already seven am. She ran into the bathroom and took a quick shower, getting dressed. She had half an hour to leave for work and time was going by quickly.

She woke up Alison and got her ready got school, haphazardly packing their lunches. They both rushed out the door as the school bus was getting ready to leave. Alison ran as quickly as she could and caught the school bus.

Jessica sighed in relief. She could not risk taking Alison to work again and she couldn't have Alison missing another day of school. She didn't want to feel selfish but she did. She wanted to spend time with her boss. Another day of Alison at work and she would miss the opportunity of building her bonds with him.
