In the later hours of that night, I found myself lying on the bed by myself. I had been alone for quite some time. Following everything that took place earlier this morning, I felt as though I needed to take a nap to recover. At this point, the last thing I wanted to do was anything other than go to sleep. After closing my eyes, I fell asleep almost instantly and was out like a light. In my dream, I was ambling through the forest where I used to live. There was a man giving pursuit to me as I ran away. He grabbed my arm and dragged me away into the darkness to an area that we couldn't quite make out. I was awakened out of the blue. I was actively shaking and sweating a lot at the same time. It was very uncomfortable. I jumped out of bed as quickly as I could and ran to the open window, where I stood for a few seconds and breathed in the fresh, cool air before going back to bed. I was taking in deep, labored breaths. I could feel my heart beating very fast.
