Mordecai's standpoint

I peered at the figure staring at my gate as I drove closer to it. Who would be foolish enough to stand and stare at this time of the night? It was a she and she didn't look like a robber. More like a miserable mad woman. The headlights shone on her—Brianna. I immediately parked the car and flew out of it, she looked like she was going to pass out.

"Brianna!" I shouted, carelessly pocketing my keys. "What are you doing here?" She smiled sadly as she swayed back to forth. "You are drunk," I said as a matter-of-fact.

"Yes, I drank because I'm sad and I want to commit suicide after I leave here. I need the energy to do that." I stepped closer to her with worry.
